Silogic
On this page, I will put all the miscellaneous information I have about people who lived or worked in Dawson. My grandfather, Emiliano Frazzini, went to Dawson, to the home of his uncle, Teridano diTella, when he came to the US in 1912. I don't know anything about his time there .

In October 22, 1913, an incorrectly set dynamite charge resulted in an enourous explosion in Stag Canon Mine No.2 that sent a tongue of fire one hundred feet out of the tunnel mouth. Rescue efforts were well organized and exhaustive, but only few miners could be rescued. 263 died in one of the worst mining disasters in the history of the United States .

Viva New Mwxico
Now fades the glimmering landscape on the sight, And all the air a solemn stillness holds." Thomas Gray, "Elegy in a Country Churchyard" .. A friend and I were talking about shooting stars. He said that something so beautiful and brilliant should have an associated sound, and yet there is none. That's the way I think about Dawson .
